Growing Garden (“we,” “us”) cares deeply about your family's privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and parent portal.
Information we collect
Family & contact details you provide: parent/guardian names, email, phone, and mailing address; emergency and authorized-pickup contacts.
Child information you provide for enrollment and care: your child's name, date of birth, allergies, medical notes, and schedule.
Account information: your login email and an encrypted password (we never see your password in plain text).
Payment information: bank/ACH details for tuition are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full bank account or card numbers on our servers.
Usage information: basic, non-identifying analytics about how the website is used, to help us improve it.
How we use your information
To provide care and run the program — enrollment, communication, daily updates, scheduling, and safety.
To process tuition payments and send invoices, receipts, and payment reminders.
To respond to tour requests and messages, and to send account and service emails.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never use children's information for advertising.
Service providers we use
We share information only with trusted providers that help us operate, and only as needed: Stripe (payments), Supabase (secure database & storage), Resend (email delivery), and Vercel (website hosting). Each is bound to protect your data.
Children's privacy
Information about your child is provided by you as the parent or guardian, used solely to provide care, shared only with staff and authorized contacts, and never sold or used for marketing. You may review or update it at any time.
How we protect your information
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to authorized staff, and payment details are handled by Stripe's PCI-compliant systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to safeguard your family's information.
Your choices & rights
You can view and update much of your information in the parent portal, and you may ask us to correct or delete your data. To make a request, just contact us.
We keep information only as long as needed to provide care and meet legal or licensing obligations, then delete it.
